2.6 Evaluation of General Sources

The criminal justice system has multiple different controversy's that are popular in our society today. As for the controversy that I have decided to discuss is about our society and the issue of the criminal justice system and racism. The first article that touches upon this topic is titled "No, Justice is Not Colorblind" by Lindsey Cook. This article was posted on December 11th 2014 and discusses the race issue in the United States with the police force. The article posts a video relating to its topic along with multiple graphs and pictures. As Lindsey Cook writes the article, she explains to Americans that the research shows that justice is not colorblind and African Americans are getting mistreated throughout the country.

The second article discussing this criminal justice controversy is titled "FBI Director James Corney dives into debate overrace, criminal justice" updated by February 12 2015. The article written by Jake Miller shows the world that law enforcement officers are acknowledges the racial issue. The graphic available in the article is a video discussing the FBI agent. The director urges that the criminal justice system can perform better when it comes to criminal racial discrimination.
